What’s On

Exhibitions

During the summer opening season, our exhibitions offer an opportunity to display the rich and detailed history of Balmoral.

The Ballroom has featured renowned art installations, displayed rare and unique collections of His Majesty King Charles III’s paintings, and gives an opportunity to present and highlight new developments on the estate.

In 2026, the Ballroom hosts a photographic exhibition commemorating the centenary of Queen Elizabeth II, showcasing iconic moments from her life and reign. The centre piece of the exhibition will be the ceremonial robe of the Order of the Thistle, emerging as a commanding presence, its deep green velvet and ancient insignia embodying centuries of ceremony, continuity, and sovereign grace.

We hope you will enjoy viewing this beautifully presented display.
