RunBalmoral is a festival of running for people of all ages and in 2019 the events will be held on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th April.
The Saturday features the Stena Drilling Tartan 10K, the Conoco Phillips 5K, the Secondary School 2.5K and the MPH Primary School 1.5K races.
Sundays races include the Apollo Duathlon, Bristow Group 15 Mile Trail Race and the Bristow Group 3 Mile Trail Race.
2019 will also see the return of the Devil O Deeside Challenege, which is supported by Repsol Sinopec. To dance with the Devil you have to complete the Stena Drilling 10K, ConocoPhillips 5K, Bristow Group 15 Mile Trail race and the Apollo Duathlon! There were two categories of winner; male with the fastest overall cumulative time and female with the fastest cumulative time. That’s it!
Plans are well underway for the RunBalmoral 2019 Weekend and this will be the 22nd year of the event. We hope to see you then and online entries will be launched in early November on the RunBalmoral website. Book your place as soon as possible as the races often reach capacity before the official cut-off date.
A huge thanks to everyone who ran, watched and supported in the RunBalmoral 2018 events. It was a wonderful weekend which was enjoyed by everyone.
General Castle VisitorsPlease note that on the day of RunBalmoral up to 10,000 people will be on the estate on the Saturday. The roads around the event will be extremely busy and we operate restricted services due to the volume of people (e.g no audio guides or Battricars). We advise this is not a good day to visit the Castle ballroom and grounds, even though, to compensate, admission on this day is free.
