Balmoral is currently closed to the Public. However winter guided tours will be available on specific dates from late October until early December 2018.
The guided tours are special as the guides are able to share with you many of the stories, past and present that bring Balmoral to life. After your tour, tea and filter coffee along with shortbread is available (included in your admission).
At Balmoral we have a range of three and four star graded holiday cottages available for rental.
Colt Cottages, Connachat Cottage, Karim Cottage and Rhebreck Lodge are available throughout the year while the Garbh Allt Shiel is available from late April until early November each year.
At Balmoral we have some very special residents - our red squirrels.
The red squirrel is one of Scotland's favourite mammals but it is declining in numbers and classified as an endangered species. However at Balmoral we are lucky to have several scurries of squirrels living and you can watch them feeding.
Travel in comfort in a Landrover Discovery as our experienced Ranger guides you through the manicured parkland and gardens of Balmoral before heading to the moors and mountains beyond.
From late October until early December we offer winter safari tours on weekdays only. Booking is essential and safaris start at 10.00 a.m.
Purchase your admission tickets in advance or choose from a wide range of gifts, books, household goods, clothing, golfing items and even a gift voucher for the safari tour.
UK shipping is just £4.95 per order and we will advise shipping options for international orders.
In 2019 the grounds, gardens, exhibitions, gift shop and cafe will be open to the Public on a daily basis from Monday 1st April until Wednesday 31st July.
Opening times are from 10.00 a.m. until 5.00 p.m. However please note that the last recommended admission is at 4.30 p.m.
