|Victoria and Albert Teacup and Saucer |
£95.00 / $123.50
The design of this exclusive range of English fine bone china, commissioned by Buckingham Palace, is based on a Worcester plate from the Royal Collection made in 1840. The original plate was painted in the centre with the cipher of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert surmounted by the Royal Crown.
This design has a particularly high burnished gold content and the intricate design means the hand finishing of the pieces is technically complex and highly skilled. Made entirely by hand in the Staffordshire potteries using traditional methods which have remained unchanged for 250 years, every piece is finished by hand using 22 carat gold.
