Spring Opening

From 23rd March until 3rd May your group will be able to enjoy a relaxed walk in the grounds, view the exterior of the Castle and also have an opportunity to visit the Mews Gift Shop and Cafe.

As admission is free of charge there is no requirement to book tickets to visit the grounds.

However there is a parking fee for coaches to come through to park by the Estates Office - please contact us to make arrangments.

Summer Opening

This year the grounds, gardens and exhibitions at Balmoral will open to the Public on a daily basis from Saturday 4th Mayh until Sunday 11th August and you can now book your tickets online. 

This is a wonderful opportunity to visit the grounds, gardens, exhibitions, Mews Gift Shop and Cafe, which will be open daily from 1000 until 1700, with last recommended admissions at 1600.

For groups of 15 guests or more we ask that you contact us in advance to make a group reservation.

2024 admission ticket pricing is as follows:-

Adult Ticket	£17.50
Child Ticket (aged 5 to 16 years)	£9.00

We offer morning and afternoon tickets and we just require the following details to make a group reservation:-

Group name
Date and time of your visit
Number of guests (adults and children)
Preferred language for the audio handset tour
Address, telephone number and e-mail address for the booking

We can then prepare the booking and provide the booking reference so you can contact us to make payment in advance of your visit.

We require final numbers at least 10 days in advance of your visit and payment must be made by credit card. Please note that such group bookings will not have the additional booking fee applied to their payment.

We will make arrangements for your coach to park by the Estates Office and for audio handset to be available for your group. The handset will be issued to the guide on arrival and we ask that they collect the handset and they are handed in at the Mews Gift Shop at the end of the tour.

Your driver and guide will receive complimentary admission.

FOR ADVANCE ONLINE BOOKINGS WE INCLUDE THE AUDIO HANDSET TOUR AS A COMPLIMENTARY UPGRADE - THIS IS NORMALLY CHARGED AT £5 PER HANDSET IF PURCHASING YOUR TICKETS ON THE DAY.
