Painting Holidays

Balmoral has everything to inspire you to bring out the best in your art. Whether you wish to paint Balmoral Castle in all its Baronial splendour, the crags of Lochnagar or deer grazing in Glen Muick, you will find what you are looking for here on the Royal Estate.

Couple this with absolute peace, clean air and crystal clear light and it is hard to think of anywhere in Britain more suited to a painting holiday.

The residential painting holidays have been very popular so we are now running a series of painting holidays in the autumn 2007 and spring 2008 holidays.

On the Sunday you can arrive any time from 12 noon to meet your tutor for the week and settle into your room before getting together with the other guests for an evening meal in The Pipers Hall.

After dinner your tutor will run through the plans for the week and then you will have the chance to stroll around the grounds of Balmoral Castle before retiring for the evening and preparing for the week ahead.

The course finishes after breakfast on the Saturday, when we say our good byes.

If required we can collect you and take you back to the airport or railway station in Aberdeen.
