Colt Cottage 1 & 2

With the exception of some weeks during The Royal Visit

Colt Cottages are situated in close proximity to the Castle, near the Estates Office and Stables. Access is by the public road to Balmoral and thereafter by the private Estate road.

During 2010 the bookings will run on a Monday to Monday basis.

Five people can be accommodated by using the sofa bed in the lounge.

There are two cottages, which are semi detached.

They can be occupied separately or if required they can be used together by one large family.

Each cottage consists of:-

Lounge with dining area and double sofa bed
Kitchen (complete with microwave, fridge freezer and cooker)
Double bedroom
Single bedroom
Bathroom (complete with shower and WC)

Services

The property is connected to mains electricity and there are night storage heaters for space heating.

Please note that there is no telephone at Colt Cottages. A widescreen television and DVD player are provided.

Maximum occupancy

The maximum occupancy for each cottage is 5 guests - this requires two people to sleep on the sofa bed in the lounge.
