|Stomacher Brooch |
£65.00 / $84.50
This beautiful brooch is inspired by the stomacher made for Queen Mary in 1920. It is made with Swarovski crystals set in white gold-plated metal. A Stomacher is a piece of jewellery designed to be worn on the front of the bodice and was originally composed of three brooches of graduated size.
The original was made in 1920 for Queen Mary using two pieces already in her collection: the Kapurthala Stomacher, given to her by the Maharajah of Karpurthala, and a diamond crescent from the town of Swansea, both of which she received as wedding presents in 1893.
Presented in a gift box.
